• Had to teach each other how to project into the back of the audience
• Must members exit their movements while raising kids?

On recruiting: at a conference, attendees distinguish themselves by performing excellently. Makes it obvious who should be more involved. Compare to a circle that decides who is allowed to join.

Takeaway: develop venues that allow people to demonstrate excellence.
